2010 Cowboy Action Shoot Dates

KVR matches are held at the Putnam County Gun Club Range in Eleanor, WV.

   The safety meeting will start at 9:30 a.m., followed by the main match at 10 a.m.                             You have to attend the safety meeting, if you want to shoot the match.

SEE NEW DRIVING DIRECTIONS ON "HOME PAGE" UNDER GROUP PICTURE.  Driving Directions to Range (Putnam Co. Gun Club):  Take I-64 to the Teays Valley exit, (from Charleston turn right onto WV-34N, or from Huntington turn left onto WV-34N).  Go north on WV- 34 toward US-817 (old US-35). Turn right on US-817S/WV-34N.  Take the WV-34N ramp and cross the Winfield bridge.  At the end of the bridge, turn left on WV- 62N to the town of Eleanor, about 1 mile.  Turn right on Eleanor Circle (Rite Aid will be on your left).  Turn right on Park Road and continue thru the Park (the pool will be on your left), make a right by the old school house, crossing over a small concrete bridge.  Make another right onto the dirt/gravel road, continuing thru two gates (the first is the park gate and the second is the range gate), until you reach the “Buffalo Flats” Cowboy Range which will be to the right of the Pistol Range.

4-Stage Matches will be on the Saturday, one week before the main match, (March 13th, April 10^th, May 8^th, June12^th, July 10^th, August 14^th, September 11^th, October 9^th, November 13^th).

 We may schedule additional shoots, and special shoots may be scheduled during the winter months… so check the website often for more information……
